Chinese tech firms unveiled artificial intelligence (AI)-powered innovations blending with real-world industries at the 2025 World Internet Conference (WIC) Wuzhen Summit, which kicked off on Friday in Wuzhen, an ancient water town in East China’s Zhejiang Province.
These new products were designed and developed to keep pace with the fast development of cyberspace technologies and applications in China, while using the latest cutting-edge technologies to empower the research and development processes, companies said.
Qi An Xin Technology Group, a domestic leader in cybersecurity industry, unveiled the SD-WAN for quantum security, emphasizing “quantum-grade security, zero-retrofit deployment” at the WIC’s Light of Internet Expo, one of the signature events of the Wuzhen Summit.
This marks the 12th year the expo runs concurrently with the Wuzhen Summit, themed “AI Symbiosis, Enlightening the Future.” The expo now serves as both a global showcase for digital technologies and a launching pad for internet aspirations. This year, more than 670 enterprises and institutions from 54 countries and regions are exhibiting at the expo, showcasing AI-empowered innovations across industries, according to official data.
“The launch of SD-WAN marks the scalable commercial adoption of quantum security technology in critical infrastructure, ushering in a new chapter for wide-area communication security,” Fan Juncheng, general manager at the Intelligent Security Gateway Division of Qi An Xin Technology Group, told the Global Times.
Fan emphasized that the advent of the quantum era poses both challenges and opportunities for critical information infrastructure security.
According to statistics by iCV TA&K, a leading technology consulting firm, the global quantum computing industry was valued at $4.7 billion in 2023 and is projected to exceed $800 billion by 2035.
Fan explained that today’s power grid commands, bank transactions could be secretly saved by hackers. They will wait until quantum computers are ready and then crack the codes. “If this happens, it could cause permanent damage to a nation’s vital systems and even trigger widespread crises.That’s why critical networks urgently need a fix that fits existing setups and stays safe for decades. SD-WAN was born to solve exactly this.”
Also at the WIC, domestic leading cybersecurity company DAS-Security launched innovations including AI security service digital employees, Hengnao security large model 3.0, AI+ cloud security and AI full-domain security solution.
DAS-Security won the Distinguished Contribution Award at the WIC summit on Friday for breakthroughs in global internet development and governance, together with other 13 enterprises.

DAS-Security’s newly debuted products, powered by AI, build a full-chain security system from detection to supervision, addressing data leaks and AI adversarial attacks to achieve a governance framework of “credible content, controllable behavior, visible assets,” a representative of the company told the Global Times. DAS-Security is a 12-year participant to the WIC.
“The AI full-domain security solution responds to the country’s 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-30) and amended Cybersecurity Law (which will take effect on January 1, 2026), covering AI office and humanoid scenarios to resolve full-stack risks,” said the representative.
The representative also highlighted key achievements of Hengnao security large model 3.0, which evolved from version 1.0 to 3.0 in just three years, creating dual systems to ensure secure, trusted data flow.
Analysts pointed out that these launches highlight Chinese tech firms’ global edge in AI security, quantum computing, and data governance, advancing high-quality digital economy growth.
Meanwhile, China is developing new tools to make everyday life in China simpler, smarter, and more inclusive.
On Friday, the National Immigration Administration and the Cyberspace Administration of China, at the WIC, jointly launched SinoGuide, a comprehensive mobile app designed to help foreigners better integrate into and experience China’s rich and convenient digital services.
SinoGuide integrates policy guidance, news updates, daily life tools, and language learning support, providing seamless access to 31 essential online services for visitors and residents in China, including mobile payments, one-tap ride-hailing, food delivery, healthcare, education, and more.
The achievements of the WIC Wuzhen Summit are becoming increasingly tangible and perceptible, participants said.
Since 2021, the conference has released outstanding case studies on jointly building a community with a shared future in cyberspace for four consecutive years, vividly demonstrating global innovation vitality in the internet sector through real-world practices.
Today, the WIC has evolved into a “solution repository” and “innovation source” that gathers global wisdom and shares best practices, continuously creating industry highlights and achieving numerous “firsts” around cutting-edge topics such as data security, AI, and internet talent development, participants noted.
