UFC star Deiveson Figueiredo was involved in a horror car crash that saw his wrecked vehicle flipped over.
The accident took place almost three weeks after his most recent MMA bout that saw him beat Montel Jackson via split decision in his native Brazil.
Figueiredo, 37, took to Instagram after the collision to confirm that he is well and share some shocking images of the damage that occurred.
The former UFC flyweight champion included pics that showed his Land Rover rolled over to the side.
Debris is strewn across the road and all the windows and sunroof are smashed in.
The sixth-ranked bantamweight contender in Dana White‘s promotion informed his 454,000 followers that the incident took place in the city of Belem in Brazil.
The Brazilian bruiser claimed that the accident was caused by a female driver who was seemingly “on the run” and driving “at a high speed” prior to impact.
Thankfully the UFC star confirmed that no one got hurt despite the severity of the crash.
Figueiredo added the following caption: “Thank GOD we’re fine, apparently the girl is fine. Now we need to sort out the tendencies.”
UFC fans stormed the comments’ section to reach out to their favourite fighter and express their gratitude that no one got hurt.
