Sephora Savings Event 2025: What Our Beauty Deals Writer Is Buying

As of this morning, the fall Sephora Savings Event is officially underway. Today through Nov. 10, Rouge rewards members (those who’ve spent $1,000 or more at the beauty store in the past year) can save 20% sitewide with code EVERYTHING. This sale is one of only a handful of times per year that Sephora offers a sitewide discount—and it’s generally better than Sephora’s Black Friday sale, which typically isn’t a sitewide offer.

The Sephora Savings Event is now open to Rouge members, who can save 20% sitewide.

If you’re not a Rouge rewards member, don’t worry: All other rewards members will get access to the sale on Nov. 4. Whether I’m researching discounts for my bi-weekly beauty deals column or scrolling TikTok after work, I’m always keeping tabs on the best beauty products and noting when they go on sale. Needless to say, I’ll be taking advantage of this Sephora Savings Event. Here, I’ve compiled a list of what I’m buying from the sale in case you’re looking for inspiration.

What I’m Buying From The Sephora Savings Event

My Picks From The Sephora Savings Event

The first thing I’m buying is Rhode’s Barrier Butter. Do I already own one? Yes, but I’m buying a backup tube so that my skin doesn’t have to go without it for even a day—this moisturizer is that good. It’s rich and thick, and acts as a protective layer of moisture, which is perfect for my dry and eczema-prone skin.

Thanks to a combination of peptides, butters and cloudberry oil, this Olehenriksen treatment leaves my lips soft, smooth and moisturized. It comes in 11 shades (six high-shine finish and five shimmer finish options), but my personal favorite is the Cocoa Crème shade pictured above, because of its pigmented chocolate brown tint.

This in-shower moisturizer is a staple of mine for the fall and winter because its barrier-supporting formula quickly absorb into the skin, hydrating, softening and soothing it. All I have to do is apply this salve on my skin (without rubbing it in) and quickly rinse it off—very minimal effort for smooth skin.

Crown Affair’s leave-in conditioner hydrates, conditions, detangles, reduces frizz and adds shine to your hair without weighing it down. I’ve noticed a difference since I started using it about a year ago; my hair looks and feels healthier and is more manageable. Plus, it makes my hair smell incredible.

Our beauty team named this face mask the best LED face mask overall after testing several because it utilizes multiple modes of light therapy to address and target skin concerns such as fine lines and acne. Ever since hearing it earned my colleagues’ stamp of approval, this LED mask has been on my wish list.

I’ve been coveting this underpainting palette ever since it launched a few months ago, and now that it’s on sale, it’s a no-brainer. The sculpting palette includes a color-correcting shade, two highlighters and two contour shades. Each blendable cream offers sheer to medium coverage, resulting in an overall skin-like finish.

I’m a proud owner of seven Hourglass Phantom Volumizing Glossy Balms—they combine the best parts of lip care: the bold pigment of a lipstick, the shine of a lip gloss and the hydration of a lip balm. Plus, they’re easy to just keep in your purse because their slim design is roughly the size of a pen.

Scent preferences are so personal, which is why I’m planning on gifting a few of my friends perfume discovery sets over the holidays. This set from Jo Malone (one of my favorite perfume brands) comes with eight fragrances, including bestsellers like English Pear & Freesia and Peony & Blush Suede.

After hearing Forbes Vetted commerce editor Katherine Louis rave about Sofie Pavitt’s Mandelic Clearing Serum, I knew I needed to add it to my cart. “This product has single-handedly changed my complexion more than any other serum I’ve tried,” she says. “I have oily, acne-prone skin that can be extra sensitive, and this serum kept me clear and glowing leading up to my August wedding.”

I use the Merit Complexion Stick as a foundation, concealer and contour stick. I love that it’s extremely buildable and doesn’t appear cakey or cling to my dry patches. My number one tip is to ensure you have a well-moisturized base so it swipes on easily and blends without issue.

This year, I’m treating myself to this set from Kérastase, which includes a full-size bottle of the Elixir Ultime Hair Oil and a travel-size version of the Nutritive 8H Magic Night Serum. The lightweight hair oil adds shine and softness to your hair, while the night serum focuses on hydrating and strengthening your hair overnight.

Adding a hypochlorous acid spray to my routine has been a complete game-changer for my eczema and acne; its anti-inflammatory and antibacterial properties help soothe my skin, reduce redness and eliminate any harmful bacteria. This spray is accepted and recognized by the National Eczema Association, the National Rosacea Society and the National Psoriasis Foundation.

A sleeper hit from Makeup By Mario is definitely this blush stick. I use it almost daily and love that it’s extremely pigmented, giving my cheeks a natural yet radiant pop of color. The best part is that it’s extremely easy to blend, thanks to its creamy consistency and the included custom brush.

For smooth, sleek and styled hair without any crunchiness, look no further than this cream. Trust me, I’ve gone through three tubes of this and haven’t been disappointed. Its formula allows me to tame my frizz and flyaways while keeping my hair soft and moisturized.

Forbes Vetted supervising deals editor Kara Cuzzone calls this skin tint her secret weapon for glowy skin. “It’s one of the products I recommend to friends the most because it’s earned me so many compliments on my skin over the past few years,” she says. Now, I’m more convinced than ever that I need it.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

What Time Of The Year Does Sephora Have Sales?

Sephora typically runs three sitewide sales a year: one in the spring, one in the fall and one just before the holidays. The spring and fall events offer a tiered discount based on shoppers’ rewards membership tiers, whereas the holiday event features a special one-time use 20% off discount for all shoppers. It also holds smaller category-specific sales throughout the year.

How Often Does Sephora Do 20% Off?

The beauty retailer only offers a 20% off sitewide discount three times a year. During the fall and spring Sephora Savings Events, only Rouge rewards members can save 20%, but during the holiday sale the general public usually gets a chance to get 20% off a single purchase.

What Is Sephora’s Black Friday Sale Like?

Sephora’s Black Friday sale usually features deals on hundreds of beauty products. However, it’s a more limited selection than what we see included in the retailer’s sitewide Savings Events (like the fall sale happening right now).

What Is The Best Time To Buy From Sephora?

Sephora will typically host a handful of sales throughout the year; however the best time to shop is during its Savings Events and Black Friday/Cyber Monday sale. During this time, you can find your favorite products at some of its lowest prices and have a wider catalogue to shop from.
