Exide Industries shares drop after board postpones results amid I-T Dept survey

Exide Industries clarified that there has been no material impact on its business operations due to the ongoing action.

Shares of Exide Industries were trading lower after the company postponed its results announcement, citing an ongoing Income Tax department survey at its offices and manufacturing units across India since October 29, 2025.

“The proceedings are underway, and the company is extending its full cooperation to the department,” Exide Industries said in an exchange filing.


The company also clarified that there has been no material impact on its business operations due to the ongoing action.

Exide added that it will inform the revised date of the board meeting in due course.
