North West law firm Harrison Drury has strengthened its Manchester commercial property team with the appointment of Elisabeth Williams as partner.

Elisabeth brings extensive experience in property development, having worked in-house for strategic land promoter Gladman and affordable housing provider Mulbury, as well as in commercial property roles for several North West law firms.

She also has a strong background in retail landlord and tenant work, advising high street retailers on leases, agreements for lease and property refinance transactions.

Elisabeth said: “Harrison Drury immediately felt like the right fit for me, both in terms of its offering to clients and its commitment to support its people.

“The North West has such a dynamic property market right now, with developers, landowners and tenants all looking to partner with a firm that knows their goals and can help get the most value from their assets.

“I’m looking forward to supporting our client’s growth in a way that’s both strategic and straightforward.”

Elisabeth’s appointment enhances Harrison Drury’s capabilities across development and retail sectors, supporting clients with land promotion agreements, overages, refinance packages, acquisitions, disposals, estate management and asset finance.

Hannah Hughes, partner and joint head of Harrison Drury’s commercial property team, added: “Elisabeth brings a vast range of property knowledge and experience to our team.

“Her expertise in supporting clients with the development of new sites and managing complex property transactions will be particularly useful to our clients.

“Elisabeth’s outlook and approach is aligned with our culture at Harrison Drury, and we’re confident she will be successful in building long term client relationships and supporting the ongoing growth of our commercial property team in Manchester.”
