Agents and landlords offered simpler property management via new API

TDS and Lofti property managementThe Tenancy Deposit Scheme (TDS) has announced a new API integration with Lofti, a platform that simplifies residential property management for landlords and letting agents.

Lofti’s platform covers everything from tenant enquiries and viewings, to maintenance coordination and compliance tracking. By integrating with industry-standard tools such as Zoopla & Rightmove, Lofti creates a centralised hub where property professionals can manage their entire portfolio from one dashboard.

The integration with TDS is another stepping stone in this direction, freeing even more time to focus on business generation and client satisfaction.

Following feedback

A spokesperson from Lofti commented: “The reason we decided to go with the TDS integration is because the deposit protection is a key part of the lifecycle of a tenancy. Ensuring the compliance of a tenancy and making sure that both renters, agents and landlord are correctly informed of the deposit protection was key feedback that we were getting from our first users.”

Debbie Davies, TDS Head of Sales and Client Success

Debbie Davies, Head of Sales and Client Success at TDS, added: “We’re delighted to be partnering with Lofti, a platform that shares our goal of making property management easier, more efficient, and more accessible.

“Deposit protection plays a crucial role in the tenancy lifecycle, and by embedding the TDS API, Lofti is helping agents protect deposits with confidence, reduce admin, and ensure full legal compliance, all without leaving the platform. This is a powerful step forward for users who want speed, simplicity, and peace of mind.”

TDS API enables Lofti users to manage tenancy deposits effortlessly, automating key processes and removing the need for manual data entry, allowing agents to manage deposit protection more efficiently, with minimal effort.
