exp uk commercial property launch rob jonesEXP UK, the self-employed estate agency model, is claiming to be the first comprehensive platform in the UK to provide both residential and commercial property agency services under one model.

Today’s official launch of its commercial division builds on EXP UK’s rapid growth in the residential sector and creates new opportunities at a time when the commercial property sector itself is demonstrating long-term strength.

According to the latest market data, the size of the UK commercial real estate agency industry has increased by 56% over the last decade (2004 to 2024), with annual revenue forecast to reach £8.1bn in 2025 following year-on-year growth of 8.2%.

eXp UK’s commercial offering will cover office, retail, industrial, land and mixed-use sectors, with dedicated training, resources and support for commercial agents.

Commercial agents will be able to benefit from eXp’s unique commission structure, maintaining 70% of commission earned, rising to 100% for the best performing agents.

Led by the best

The commercial property division will be driven by Head of EXP UK Commercial, Rob Jones (main image), a seasoned industry professional with a career built on the management of both national and international companies.

He commented: “We are giving ambitious and driven commercial property agents the opportunity to build their own business as part of EXP Commercial here in the UK as well as joining an international business.

“I have worked in this part of the sector, as well as lectured on the subject, and this is a unique opportunity to combine my entrepreneurial spirit with my passion for commercial property and bring a truly disruptive commercial offering to the UK market.”

Adam Day, Head of EXP UK and Europe, added: “The launch of the commercial offering is a landmark moment, not just for our business but for the wider industry. For the first time, agents will have the chance to operate across both the residential and commercial property sectors under a single, comprehensive platform, giving them true flexibility to meet client needs across the market.”
