Lloyd & Whyte to bring free insurance review offer to 100% Optical 2026

AOP members can benefit from a free review of their existing insurance policies during 100% Optical 2026 (28 February–2 March).

Lloyd & Whyte, the AOP’s insurance affinity partner, will be on hand to meet members and look over their policy documents, with the company’s commercial development manager, Emily Tyler, offering 10-minute slots to talk through policies in person.

Tyler told OT: “Practice insurance is often renewed without a detailed review, which can leave gaps in cover or unnecessary costs.

“Lloyd & Whyte’s expert review at 100% Optical will give members peace of mind that their insurance is fit for purpose, up-to-date, and delivering real value.”

Tyler will attend the show every day, and advises that AOP members meet her on the Lloyd & Whyte stand to find a time slot that works for them.

As an AOP affinity partner, Lloyd & Whyte can offer advice on and insurance policies for all members, including newly-qualified optometrists, locums, and prospective and current optometry business owners.

As a specialist insurer for healthcare professionals, the organisation has a clearer understanding of the needs of optical professionals than a more general insurance company.

The organisation can also offer advice on cyber insurance and practice insurance, and on issues including management liability, income protection, and critical illness cover.

Lloyd & Whyte can also offer non-work-related insurance policies, including for holiday homes, so members can streamline their paperwork by accessing all their policies in one place.

Lloyd & Whyte will be exhibiting on stand Q20 at 100% Optical.
