The Alliance commends Mayor Harrell for declaring August ‘General Aviation Appreciation Month’

Washington, DC – The Alliance for Aviation Across America today commended Mayor Terry Harrell of Winchester, Tennessee for proclaiming August 2017 “General Aviation Appreciation Month.” In Tennessee, general aviation contributes about $2.6 billion to the state’s total economic output.

“Mayor Harrell’s proclamation helps highlight the economic benefits and valuable service that general aviation provides to the City of Winchester and the State of Tennessee,” said Selena Shilad, Executive Director of the Alliance for Aviation Across America. “We sincerely thank the Mayor and the City of Winchester for recognizing this vital industry.”
