South Dakota named 7th best state for health care by WalletHub

(KSFY) – A new study by personal finance website WalletHub shows South Dakota is the seventh best state in the nation for health care.

The study looked at a number of things, including health care cost, accessibility and outcome.

South Dakota earned its spot on the list for its number of dentists, number of hospital beds available, routine doctor visits and physician medicare acceptance rates.

Both Minnesota and Iowa tied for second place in the study.

Hawaii earned the top spot on the list, while Louisiana came in last.
