SAU Tech club awards Aviation Maintenance scholarship | Colleges & Universities

The SAU Tech Aviation Maintenance program’s student club has awarded its first scholarship to Anthony Gardner.

The scholarship was created for students who complete the program and take their FAA testing and earn the licenses needed to maintain aircraft.

The funds are for those who successfully complete this process to provide tools for them to take on their first job after graduation.

Gardner is a former U.S. Air Force KC-135 crew chief who worked for four years in that capacity before coming to SAU Tech to earn his Air Frame and Power Plant certifications and an associate of applied science in aviation maintenance.
