GRAND RAPIDS, MI – A 40,000-square-foot medical and professional office building will open this fall along M-6, near Metro Health Hospital and the Mercy Health Southwest Campus.
The project, at 2131 64th St., in Byron Center is being developed by Colliers International | West Michigan, Vision Real Estate Investment and e5 Ventures
“This building will support the long-term, continued growth of West Michigan’s thriving healthcare industry,” said Duke Suwyn, chief executive officer of Colliers International | West Michigan, in a statement.
Vision Real Estate Investment plans to break ground this fall. Project plans include extensive landscaping, a boulevard-style driveway and 200 parking spots. The built-to-suit building will be divided into various sized suites ranging from 5,000 to 40,000 square feet and customized for future tenants.
Colliers International will provide leasing services, and Pinnacle Construction Group will serve as the lead construction contractor.
“We think this built-to-suit building will give the surrounding healthcare organizations more options to expand their offices, and even attract additional health care employers to Byron Center.” said Rick Hapner, Vision Real Estate Investment’s lead developer.
There continues to be strong demand for quality office space across West Michigan, with many companies are relocating to suburban communities to find the space they need, according to a recent market report by Colliers International.
