Man arrested in connection to five stolen vehicles

Anthony DeForest was arrested on five counts of unlawfully driving away of an automobile and two counts of home invasion.

GLADWIN COUNTY, Mich., (WPBN/WGTU) — A Gladwin County man was arrested after multiple stolen vehicles were reported in the area.

Anthony DeForest, 24, is charged with two counts of home invasion and five counts of unlawfully driving away of an automobile.

According to the Gladwin County Sheriff’s Office, four of the vehicles DeForest reportedly stole have been found. They are still searching for a green Arctic Cat 4-wheeler.

Bond for DeForest was set at $100,000. Deputies said the complaint is still open and more charges may be filed.
