An Irish-owned health care operator – providing managed services for the past 13 years – has opened new offices in Galway as part of a major expansion.
Communicare Healthcare is an Irish owned and operated company that was established in 2004, by Ballyhaunis native Rosaleen Kelly. It is a nurse-led company that offers a range of managed, specialised care services across Ireland – with offices in Claremorris, Tullamore and Dublin.
But now Communicare has expanded, opening new offices in Galway and Cork to meet the ever increasing demands in the healthcare sector for top quality staff and the company currently employs several hundred people.
Galway-born Bereneice O’Rourke, a native of Oranmore, is the Chief Executive Officer at Communicare.
The company provides manBereneice O’Rourke,aged care services across a number of key areas, including disability (mental health, intellectual and physical disabilities); social inclusion; specialised paediatric homecare – for children with life limiting and complex conditions – as well as post-operative recovery, respite care, Alzheimer’s and dementia care and care of the elderly.
The company also provide full cover staffing solutions to care facilities and hospitals such as nursing homes, hostels and hospitals, including acute units.
