Diplomat calls for Pak-French civil aviation cooperation | Pakistan

SIALKOT: Philippe Fovet, head of French Embassy Economic Affairs Department, on Friday said France would consider the proposal of cooperation between the Civil Aviation departments of both countries.

He said this while visiting the Sialkot International Airport here. Sialkot International Airport Limited Chairman Khawar Anwar Khawaja, vice-chairman M Sohail Asghar, CEO Maj-Gen (retd) Ameer Haidar Ali Khan and others were also present. Philippe Fovet said his government was considering a proposal for launching a joint venture of French and Pakistan’s Civil Aviation. He said that he had asked the French government to start training of the Sialkot Airport employees. He lauded the Sialkot-based business community for constructing the Pakistan’s first private sector’s international airport.
