Conway health care ranked in top 20
ValuePenguin, a personal finance website, rated the Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway metro area 16th overall in its ranking of “Best Cities to Be a Healthcare Professional.”
ValuePenguin spokesman Madison Reed said several metropolitan areas were evaluated.
“The study evaluated 200 metropolitan statistical areas across 20 key data points, covering everything from educational quality and salary insurance rates and medical malpractice payouts,” she said.
Duluth, Minnesota holds the top spot in the rankings, while Chico, California, Asheville, North Carolina, Durham-Chapel Hill, North Carolina and Gainesville, Florida, round out the top 5.
The study also ranked a couple different areas, such as “learning and working,” “the patients” and “the offices.”
The Little Rock-North Little Rock-Conway metropolitan area ranked 39th, 129th and 5th respectively in these categories.
