Canada Jetlines Plans 2018 Launch

Ultra-LCC startup Canada Jetlines plans to launch operations June 1, 2018, recently appointed CEO Stan Gadek said Sept. 11 during a press conference webcast from Toronto.

The airline, which is still going through the regulatory approval process, plans to use Boeing 737-800 aircraft to fly domestically, as well as to the U.S., Caribbean and Mexico.  It is expected to face competition, especially from WestJet Airlines, which plans to launch its own ultra-LCC in the same month (Aviation …
