YORKVILLE, IL — Montgomery Village President and congressional hopeful Matt Brolley said he’s hosting a health care town hall meeting from 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday at Panera Bread, 1206 N. Bridge St. in Yorkville. Democrat Brolley said the event is free and open to the public, and he invited his opponent, Rep. Randy Hultgren (R-Plano).
“Everywhere I go in the district, people want to talk about what is going to happen with their health care,” Brolley said in a news release. “And they are desperate for representation that will listen to them, and hear their concerns. So if Congressman Hultgren won’t do that, I will.”
Brolley said he was inviting Hultgren, who “voted to repeal and replace Obamacare with a plan that cause millions of Americans to lose their health care.”
