If you want to be one of the lucky 99 poeple who nab the keys to the excruciatingly attractive Aston Martin Vanqiush Zagato Volante, you’re going to have to pay dearly. According to our sources, the Volante will carry a price tag close to seven figures.
More specifically, the Vanquish Zagato Volante will set buyers back at least $850,000. That is, of course, before the clientele deck out their newest toy with all the bells and whistles. Aston confirmed that just 99 customer cars will be produced
If you do want one, Aston expects a check scribbled with $150,000 as a start. Deposits must be made before October 10th, so hurry down to your dealer. The first cars will be delivered in October 2017, with production capping in early 2018.
This is just one of many Zagato tie-ins the British automaker has enjoyed. Underneath that near-perfect bodywork lies the bones of a regular Vanquish, including the mighty naturally aspirated 5.9-liter V-12 engine and the aging VH platform (not the underpinnings of the all-new DB11). Power is an impressive 592 hp and 457 lb-ft of torque, routed to the rear wheels through ZF’s fantastic eight-speed automatic transmission. The roadster can meet 60 mph in just 3.7 seconds—0.2 seconds slower than the Vanquish Zagato coupe.
If you don’t have the financial prowess to get one of your own, you’ll likely be able to catch a glimpse of the Zagato Volante on Rodeo Drive, on the streets of London and roaming around Monaco.
