APA Services, a national placement firm focusing on the aviation and aerospace industry, will hold two job fairs Wednesday as it hopes to fill more than 200 positions in the industry in Oklahoma.
Fairs will be held at 10 a.m.-2 p.m. and 5:30-7:30 p.m. at the Renaissance Tulsa Hotel & Convention Center, 6808 S. 107th East Ave. Tulsa Tech and Spartan School of Aeronautics will also participate.
APA needs to fill positions ranging from entry level to skilled labor to high-level engineers. Entry-level positions do not require previous aviation experience. The pay range is between $10.50 and $75 an hour.
Positions include skilled aviation and aerospace technicians, A&P mechanics, avionics technicians, structures mechanics, inspectors, paint, composites, cabinetry and upholstery and more.
“This is a great time to work in aviation,” said Nicole Minter, company principal and APA director. “Our client companies are busier than ever and need good people to fill the positions. These are good-paying jobs with solid companies.”
